Everyone comes
At some time
Some are subdued
And some sublime.
Some come less
Some come more
Some come bursting
through the door.
But everyone comes
Of that I'm sure.
And why wouldn't they?
I keep it fresh and clean
Doesn't matter how bad
The last visitor has been.
I come in the morning
And leave late night
I do double shifts
And do it with pride.
I wash the basin
And mop the floor
From working in water
My hands are sore.
I clean the toilets
And change the soap
I do it all
But not without hope.
I am Ajijur
And I have a dream
As each day passes
The closer I seem.
To finding my children
Become big men
And wear shirts
With pockets for pen.
They drive big cars
With puppies in the back
They stop at McD's
For a quick snack.
They come home running
With children and all
With them on my side
I stand tall.
I am Ajijur
And I have a dream
As each day passes
The closer I seem.
